Each Parish in the Archdiocese of Brisbane has been asked to appoint a Local Safeguarding Representative who is responsible for:
1- Making sure that the whole parish is aware of the importance of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
2- Promoting safe practices including articulating for others what is appropriate and inappropriate behaviour; and
3- Assisting the Parish Administrator in the implementation of the Archdiocesan Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy in the Parish

They are very happy to hear your suggestions about how we can keep our parish safe and will listen to any concerns about safeguarding that you may have. You can contact them at any time if there is any safeguarding matter that concerns you or you just want some clarification.
