BUGLE PUBLISHING
The Bugle is a bi-monthly colourful Parish magazine published by a group of parishioners, guided by the parish priest. It aims to promote the Parish to existing Parishioners, to casual visitors and to friends and families of both groups.
The publication consists of a message from our Parish Priest, a Q&A page where our beliefs are explored and explained, parish school happenings, St Vinnies updates, contributions from young families, the Pope’s Page with the latest sermons of Pope Francis and much more. The Bugle is published online; on the Parish Website, in our Parish App ‘St Patrick’s Beenleigh’ and on our Facebook page ‘StPatricksBeenleigh’, in order to reach the increasing number of parishioners and supporters who enjoy the online experience.
Printed copies of the Bugle are provided for parishioners without online access as well as to reach out to new readers, such as friends, family and neighbours.
The Bugle is free to the reader as the printing is subsidised by companies and organisations advertising in the magazine.
The Bugle Publishing group meets every first Tuesday of every odd month, at 12:30pm in the Parish Office, to discuss:
- selecting a theme
- Parish past and future events
- evaluate feedback
- relevant articles
- contributions and submissions from parishioners and
- administration tasks like seeking new advertisers, printing and distribution.
If you have skills you feel may be relevant and would like to contribute to the Bugle then why not take the opportunity to attend our meetings to find out more. You can also contact the Parish office for more information.
