St.Patrick's Youth Ministry
Our Vision
To create a vibrant, welcoming, and faith-filled community where young people grow closer to Christ, form authentic friendships, and joyfully live out their Catholic faith.
Our Mission & Goals
Guided by the four pillars of youth ministry, we are committed to:
- Faith Formation
Deepen young people’s knowledge of Scripture, Catholic teachings, and the love of God, so they develop a lifelong, personal relationship with Jesus. - Community Building
Provide a safe and welcoming space where youth connect with one another, build meaningful friendships, and experience the joy of belonging to the Church family. - Service & Mission
Inspire youth to share their gifts and serve both in the parish and wider community through acts of kindness, parish involvement, and outreach initiatives. - Leadership & Vocation
Encourage young people to discover their God-given gifts, develop leadership skills, and discern their unique vocation and purpose in life.
Our Commitment
- Welcoming All: Open to children and youth, with no upper age limit.
- Safe & Supportive: All leaders hold Blue Cards under Queensland’s Working with Children Check.
- Active Participation: Youth are invited to take part in parish life through liturgy, music, serving at Mass, and other ministries.
- Engaging Activities: From games and crafts to prayer, catechism, workshops, and guest speakers — our sessions are dynamic, fun, and spiritually enriching.
Family Partnership: Parents are encouraged to support and participate, helping strengthen the connection
